DR. ADAM KASSAM | MD, MPH, FRCPC
FOUNDER, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Dr. Kassam is a board-certified specialist physician in the discipline of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation based in Toronto. He co-founded Kassam Health after serving as a strategic advisor to a number of private and public healthcare institutions.
He writes regularly about health care, medical education, diversity and public policy. His work has been featured in The Atlantic, Globe and Mail, Toronto Star, CBC, Syndey Morning Herald, Ottawa Citizen and the Huffington Post. He also appeared monthly as a medical expert on CTV's Your Morning in Toronto, and has been interviewed by CBC Radio, CTV News and 570 AM news.
He graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Cornell University, holds an MD from Dartmouth Medical School and completed a Master's in Public Health from Columbia University. He served as chief resident in the department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at Western University. He currently serves as the Chair of the Section of PM&R for the Ontario Medical Association (OMA) while also sitting on the Member Relations, Advocacy and Communications Committee. Dr. Kassam is also a board member of the Young Leaders Committee at the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
